  • What does a Steamboat Lake cabin rental include?
    Our cabins come with a great location, fresh air, and beautiful views. Cabins come with bunk beds but no bedding, so please bring your own. Cabin Amenities: Electric heater Beds with mattresses A small refrigerator An outdoor picnic table and fire ring (for summer) Coin operated showers and flush toilets are available for cabin guests year around.
  • What are Steamboat Lake cabin check-in and check-out times?
    Cabin check-in is at 4pm and check-out is at 10am. The door will be unlocked at 4pm and the keys will be inside. You will check in online.
  • Do you manage the Steamboat Lake campgrounds?
    No, the camp grounds are managed by Steamboat Lake State Park. Reservations can be made here
  • Does the Steamboat Lake cabin rental include park entrance fees?
    No, you must stop at the marina entry (or the main State Park Ranger station) to obtain your day-use pass.
  • Do you rent boats?
    Yes! We have a variety of boats to rent. Check out our home page for more information.
  • Can I rent the ski boat as a walk-up or drive it myself?
    No, you must make a reservation for the ski boat (because we need to make sure you have a driver). Due to our insurance restrictions, you can not drive the ski boat yourself. If you would like to drive your own boat, you may rent one of our pontoon boats or our watercraft.
  • What do I need to BBQ on a Pontoon boat?
    Our Gold and Platinum fleet pontoon boats come with a gas grill and all utensils you need to cook. The grills are large enough to prepare food for a group, but not the size of your double-wide grill at home.
  • Can I beach a pontoon boat?
    For your own safety, we do not allow beaching of our rental pontoon boats. If you'd like to explore the shoreline of the lake, please do so before or after your pontoon boat rental. A public swimming beach is right near the marina.
  • How many people fit in a canoe?
    Our canoes are two-seaters and fit 2 adults, a moderate size dog and some gear.
  • Can I bring my own SUP?
    Yes, you can bring your own SUP to the lake. We rent SUPs for those who either don't have one or don't want to hassle with bringing it.
  • How far in advance can I reserve a boat?
    We open our boat rentals in early to mid-May and run boat rentals through mid-late September. Once reservations are open, we accept online reservations for boat rentals two weeks in advance of the booking date.
  • Can I swim from the pontoon boat rentals?
    The Colorado State Park rules and regulations state that for ALL State Parks. Regulation #100C(14)(a) "It shall be prohibited for any person to swim or bathe in any Parks and Outdoor Recreation waters, except in areas designated for such use"
  • What are your Steamboat Lake privacy policies?
    Your privacy is very important to us. Accordingly, we have developed this Policy in order for you to understand how we collect, use, communicate and disclose and make use of personal information. Information we collect We collect information in the following ways: Personal Information you give us. For example, most of our forms require you to provide your name, email, phone number and any other information you may voluntarily provide. Information we get from Google Analytics. We use Google Analytics to collect non-personally identifiable information about site usage such as length of time on the site, pages viewed, buttons clicked and the sources that referred visitors to our site, such as links provided by other sites, Facebook, etc., as well as what type of devices are used to view the site from. This information helps us to make improvements to our web site which will result in a better user experience. Google Analytics uses cookies to collect this data. You can opt-out of making your site activity available to Google Analytics by installing the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. The add-on prevents the website from sharing information with Google Analytics about visit activity.
